# Approve, reject or hide testimonials

New testimonials arrive in the **Pending** tab on the **Testimonials** page. Click **Approve** to show one in your widgets and on your Wall of Love, or **Reject** to keep it private. Only approved testimonials are ever shown publicly.

## Approve a testimonial

1. Click **Testimonials** in the top menu.
2. Open the **Pending** tab.
3. Click **Approve** on the testimonial. It moves to **Active** and appears in your widgets and on your Wall of Love.

To handle many at once, select them and click **Approve selected** or **Reject selected**.

## Reject or hide one

- To reject a pending testimonial, click the **More actions** button (three dots) next to **Approve**, then **Reject**.
- To take down a testimonial that is already live, change its status dropdown from **Active** to **Rejected** or **Pending**. It disappears from your widgets and wall.

Nothing is deleted when you reject. You can approve it again later from the **Rejected** tab.

## The tabs

- **Active**: approved and public.
- **Pending**: waiting for you.
- **Rejected**: kept private.
- **Almost left a review**: people who started but did not send. See [Follow up with people who almost left a review](https://help.testimonials.ltd/articles/almost-left-a-review).
- **All**: everything.

## Sort the list

Use the sort menu: **Newest first**, **Oldest first**, **Highest rating**, **Lowest rating**, **Longest text** or **Shortest text**.

## Add one by hand

Click **Add testimonial** on the **Testimonials** page to add one yourself, for example one a customer sent you by email.
