# Your first testimonial on your website

To get your first testimonial onto your website, share your form link, approve the testimonial when it arrives, then create a widget and paste its snippet on your site. Here is the whole path in four steps.

## 1. Share your form

1. Click **Forms** in the top menu and open your form (or create one).
2. Copy the public link, which looks like `https://testimonials.ltd/c/your-form`.
3. Send it to a happy customer by email, chat or anywhere else.

## 2. Approve it

1. When your customer submits, the testimonial lands in **Testimonials** under the **Pending** tab.
2. Click **Approve**. It moves to **Active** and can now appear on your site.

Only approved testimonials are ever shown publicly.

## 3. Create a widget

1. Click **Widgets** in the top menu, then **New widget**.
2. Pick a type, for example **Wall of love** or **Carousel**. The preview shows your real approved testimonials.

## 4. Paste it on your site

1. In the widget, copy the snippet for your platform (**HTML / WordPress**, **React / Next.js**, **Webflow / Framer / Squarespace** or **Wix**).
2. Paste the `div` where you want the testimonials to appear and the script once before the closing `</body>` tag.
3. Publish your site and reload the page.
