# Import testimonials from a CSV file

To import testimonials you already have in a spreadsheet, click **Import CSV** on the **Testimonials** page and pick your file. The file needs a header row and a column with the testimonial text.

## Prepare your file

- The first row must be a header row.
- One column must hold the text and be called `text`, `testimonial`, `text_body` or `quote`. Column names are not case sensitive.
- Useful extra columns: `name`, `title`, `company`, `rating`, `source`.

Example:

```
name,title,company,rating,text
Jane Doe,Head of Growth,Acme Co,5,"We doubled our demo bookings in a month."
```

## Import it

1. Click **Testimonials** in the top menu.
2. Click **Import CSV**.
3. Pick your file.
4. Check the imported testimonials and approve the ones you want to show.

## Troubleshooting

- **"CSV must include a text, testimonial, text_body, or quote column."** Rename your text column to one of these names.
- **"CSV needs a header row and at least one testimonial row."** Add a header row and make sure the file is not empty.
- **Special characters look wrong.** Save the file as CSV UTF-8 in Excel or Google Sheets.
