# Organize testimonials with labels and stars

Use labels to group testimonials, for example by feature, customer type or campaign, and star your favorites so you can find them in one click. Both are private and only help you organize.

## Add a label

1. Click **Testimonials** in the top menu.
2. On a testimonial, open the label control and pick a label, or create a new one with a name and a color.

Label names can be up to 40 characters, and you can have up to 100 labels in your account. Colors: slate, red, orange, amber, green, teal, blue, violet and pink.

## Filter by label

Click a label chip above the list to see only the testimonials with that label.

## Star a favorite

Click the star on a testimonial to mark it as a favorite. Stars are separate from labels and are a quick way to keep your best quotes at hand.

## Put your best testimonials first in a widget

Labels and stars do not change what your widgets show. To put chosen testimonials at the top of a widget, use **Pinned testimonials** in the widget settings. See [Create and customize a widget](https://help.testimonials.ltd/articles/create-and-customize-a-widget).
