# Send testimonial requests by email

To ask customers for a testimonial by email, open **Requests**, pick a template and a form, add the recipients, choose when to send, and click **Send requests**. Each email links to your form and we track opens, clicks and submissions for you.

## Before you start

You need a collection form and at least one email template. If either is missing, the **Compose** tab shows a link to create it. The **Requests** page is available to Admins and Editors.

## Send a batch

1. Click **Requests** in the top menu. The **Compose** tab opens.
2. Choose a **Template**. To change the wording, use the **Templates** tab.
3. Under **Links to form**, choose the form people should fill in.
4. Under **Recipients**, add one person per line, for example `jane@acme.com, Jane Doe`. You can also write `Name <email>` or just the email. Or click **Upload CSV** (it needs an email column; a name column is optional).
5. Under **When to send**, choose **Send now**, **In 1 hour**, **In 1 day**, **In 3 days** or **In 1 week**.
6. Click **Send requests**.

You can send to up to 500 people at once.

## Who we skip automatically

We do not email people who unsubscribed, already left a testimonial, were asked in the last 30 days, bounced before, or marked an earlier email as spam. Skipped people do not count against your allowance, and the result panel lists them with the reason.

## Track the results

Open the **Activity** tab to see each request as **Queued**, **Sent**, **Opened**, **Clicked**, **Submitted**, **Bounced** and more.
