To create a widget, open Widgets, click New widget, pick a type and adjust it while the live preview shows your real approved testimonials. When it looks right, copy the snippet and add it to your site.

Create a widget

  1. Click Widgets in the top menu.
  2. Click New widget. A new wall is created that already uses your space’s brand color and theme.
  3. In the Type panel, choose the layout you want.

Widget types

  • Wall of love: a masonry or grid of testimonials.
  • Collage: a mixed grid of quotes and faces.
  • Carousel: a slider, as Cards or Spotlight.
  • Marquee: a moving row, as Cards, Strip or Cross.
  • Single quote: one testimonial.
  • Video embed: your video testimonials.
  • Avatar rating: faces and your average rating, as a Badge or Face wall.
  • Floating popup: a small card that appears in a corner of the page.
  • Rating badge: your rating, Inline or Floating.
  • Logo slider: a scrolling strip of your reviewers’ company names, each with a lettered badge. If fewer than 3 reviews include a company, it shows reviewer names and photos instead.

Style

  • Internal name: a name only you see.
  • Override branding appearance: off means the widget follows your Branding colors and theme. Turn it on to set an Accent color and Theme for this widget only.
  • Layout and Direction: available for some types.

Behavior

  • Scroll effect (Wall of love only): Auto or Manual, with a Speed.
  • Appears after and Popup position or Badge position: for floating types.
  • Expandable long reviews: lets visitors open clipped quotes.
  • Show review dates: off by default.
  • Review order: Newest first, Oldest first, Highest rating, Lowest rating, Detailed first or Brief first.

Pin your best testimonials

In Pinned testimonials, select the reviews to show first. Other approved reviews still show after them.

Status and review stars in Google

  • Widget is active: turn it off to hide the widget everywhere without removing the code.
  • SEO rich snippet: adds review structured data for product, software app, course, book, event or creative work pages. Google decides whether stars appear in search results.

Widgets only ever show approved testimonials.
